Season 2 — Applications Open September 20

The second round of Zealynx Audit Grants. Applications open September 20 and close October 4, 2026. Subsidized smart contract audits for early-stage protocols — one audit fully funded, more at 50%, and Builder grants for the rest.

Carlos (Bloqarl) - September 1, 2026

Season 2 of Zealynx Audit Grants opens September 20, 2026. Applications run two weeks and close October 4; winners are announced October 11.

Season 1 was the proof. Eight protocols across six chains were funded, none of them VC-backed, and the reports are publishing now. One founder received a full $16,000 audit at no cost. Season 2 is the same program, open to a new round of builders.

What Zealynx Audit Grants is

Zealynx Audit Grants funds smart contract security audits for early-stage Web3 protocols. Grants are percentage subsidies on real Zealynx engagements at our standard, published rate of $8,000 per auditor per week. No cash grants, no middlemen: recipients get the same founder-led, senior-only audit our paying clients get, and every report is published when the engagement completes. The total pool is over $100,000.

The tiers

Three tiers, all percentage subsidies on a scoped Zealynx engagement:

The exact number and distribution is at Zealynx's discretion, and a strong field can earn more than the published tiers — that is exactly what happened in Season 1.

How to prepare before applications open

You do not have to wait until September 20 to start. The strongest Season 1 applications were prepared before the form opened:

  1. Freeze a commit and know your line count. Pick the exact code you want audited.
  2. Get your tests in order. Not coverage theater — adversarial tests, invariants, fuzzing where it fits.
  3. Do the scoring tasks. 40 of the 100 points are earnable before we read your code: run Krait on your repo, complete the eMBA modules, do a shadow audit.
  4. Share your project details early so your application is half-filled when the form opens.

See How to prepare and How scoring works for the full breakdown.

Talk to us before you apply

Carlos reviews every application personally. If you want to know whether Season 2 is a fit for your protocol — or how to make your application as strong as it can be — create an account and reply to the welcome email, or book a short call. We would rather have the conversation early than meet you at the deadline.
